Author Guidelines & Submission

General Submission Guidelines

1. Article Type
   Global Geopolitics accepts only research articles for publication.
2. Language
   Articles should be submitted in English. However, we also welcome submissions in Spanish, French, Chinese, and Turkish to encourage global participation in critical discussions. Articles in non-English languages will be translated into English upon acceptance.
3. Submission Process
   Submissions must be completed electronically sending all the required materials to editor@globalgeopoliticsjournal.com.
4. Transparency and Best Practices
   Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully review Global Geopolitics’ Principles of Transparency and Best Practice prior to submission. These principles explain the journal policies and ensure ethical research and publication standards.

5. Originality
   Global Geopolitics accepts only original submissions that have not been published elsewhere and are not under review by another journal.
6. ORCID Requirement
   Each author must have an ORCID number prior to submission. If an author does not already have an ORCID, they should create one before submitting their manuscript. ORCID provides a unique identifier that ensures your scholarly work is accurately attributed to you.
   To create an ORCID, visit the official website: Register for an ORCID iD .
   Authors will be required to include their ORCID number in the title page and submission form.

Manuscript Requirements

Submissions must include the following documents:

   The submission form is available for download here and should be completed and submitted via email along with your manuscript.
2. Manuscript
   Manuscripts must be fully anonymized to ensure a double-blind peer review process. Remove all identifying information, such as author names or affiliations.
   Articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and appendices. If justified during the peer review process, extensions to this word limit may be granted at the discretion of the editorial team.
   Follow the latest APA Style Guidelines (7th Edition) for formatting, citations, and references. Non-compliant manuscripts will be returned without review.

Formatting Details

• Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
• Line Spacing: Double-spacing throughout the document.
• Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.
• Sections: Use clear headings and subheadings according to APA guidelines.
• Figures and Tables: Figures and tables should be included as supplementary files during submission. Additionally, insert placeholders within the manuscript (e.g., “Figure 1 here” or “Table 1 here”) to indicate their intended placement. Ensure that all figures and tables are accompanied by clear titles and legends.

Additional Notes

• Manuscripts with excessive grammatical or formatting errors will be returned to the author for correction prior to review.
• Upon acceptance, authors will be required to address any revisions requested by reviewers or the editorial team promptly.
